About us

Thank you for visiting our website!

We are Alexandra and Bálint from Budapest. Our childhood love is hiking and mineral collecting, the spirit of which basically defines our commercial activity.

In addition to our continuous training in the field and other areas, since 2016 we have been involved in mineral trading, organising tours and specialist courses. This later gave birth to the idea of our current brand, Keményvári-Nagy Minerals (K-N Minerals) in 2019.

We believe that trading should not be limited to selling a product, and we try to offer new information/knowledge, good conversation and a pleasant customer experience. Our mission is to bring people closer together and to create and communicate value.

Its colour is caused by the presence of trace elements of iron and titanium in the quartz crystal lattice and by natural radiation. The specimens from Brazil are typically formed in cavities in basaltic rocks and form raised crystal clusters, but there are also crack-filling, blocky varieties. The ordered product is randomly selected from our stock, which may differ slightly in shape, colour, texture from the items shown in the picture.

Its colour is caused by the presence of trace elements of iron and titanium in the quartz crystal lattice and by natural radiation. The specimens from Uruguay are mainly from geodes formed in cavities in basaltic rocks. These specimens are characterised by a deeper, more saturated purple colour and a rich, sharply contoured crystal surface. The 13 cm tall standing specimen in the picture is polished and polished on the outer rim, making it an excellent addition to your collection or even your home.
