Alexandra
I'm Alexandra Keményváriné Nagy, one of the creators of K-N Minerals, a collector, jewellery admirer, a lover of nature since childhood.
I was born and grew up in Eger, on the south-western side of the picturesque Bükk Mountains. I studied at the Eszterházy Károly University in Eger, Hungary, where I graduated with a Master's degree in Hungarian language and literature and a Master's degree in education. Although I have tried my hand in many fields, I really found my calling in the field of copywriting, in addition to commercial work. Currently, I am also proofreading Hungarian for the scientific journal BKL Bányászati és Kohászati Lapok.
For me, working with minerals is nothing more than the exploration of an inexhaustible source of knowledge in a process of „life long learning”. As a philosopher, I consider it important, in addition to conveying the ideas of the natural sciences, to highlight and communicate to others the cultural and historical background and aesthetic value of 1-1 product.
I am glad to have found a partner like Bálint in this beautiful field. 😊

I'm Bálint Keményvári, another pillar of our constantly evolving brand. My relationship with minerals and artifacts goes back to my childhood, which, although it was interrupted for a while, was reborn in the DGD team and then, together with my wife Alexandra, it was taken to a higher level.
Thanks to my qualifications as a gemologist and jewellery appraiser, I mainly perform expert and background work in our small business, from sourcing to quality control of individual minerals and gemstones.
When I'm not doing that, I'm a mechanical engineer and patent attorney helping inventors and other intellectual property owners in our daily lives.
The importance of preparedness and knowledge is what drives me to broaden the horizons of others in both areas. This is what keeps me going and motivated to continue.
